What To Expect

Each visit is individually centered around achieving your goals. Each session is tailored to how you are presenting that day and what your body can tolerate on that specific day. We also recognize that as you make improvements, your goals will change and you will want to work on other facets of your health, which we can continue to shape and mold your plan of care together. This is your health care and we want to ensure you are maximizing your potential.

 

There are two types of visits, The first visit is always an Evaluation and ,most others are follow ups/re-assessment.

1.EVALUATION

The most important part of your visit, specifically the FIRST visit, where we ASSESS MOVEMENT PATTERNS, ERGONOMICS, MOBILITY and FUNCTION in general to prescribe treatment catered to INDIVIDUAL needs with a HOLISTIC approach

This visit will also include treatment, but mostly a deep focus on assessment is given here. This is usually your FIRST visit to see us. Here, we want to listen to your goals, problems and develop a personalized plan of care for your future appointments.

Sessions can last from 60-90 mins.

2.FOLLOW UPS

Each follow up appointment is focused on individual and personalized goals, focusing on a holistic approach to ensure you get back to the things you love.

  • Relieving your pain with Hands on Therapy

-> Graston Technique
-> Myofascial Decompression with cupping
-> MFR, Joint mobilizations, Kinesiotaping

  • Corrective & Functional Exercises
  • Home exercise program

3. WELLNESS TRAINING

Once you are injury free and have reached your goals, you can either continue with us for wellness with a physical therapist or maintain your lifestyle with your own trainer/classes or home exercises provided by the therapist. We are here to help you in the process of transition.

No — California is a direct access state — which means you can have PT treatment without a referral. **12 visits or up to 45 days after the first appointment without a referral. 

We consider wellness care to be preventative care, which is care that is not typically covered by insurance. Most people tend to wait until something is wrong before seeking care, but we take great pride in providing care to help prevent an injury in the first place.
At this time, Campbell, Cupertino, Saratoga, Mountain View and San Jose. In order to ensure high quality, efficient care, we try to limit travel time, which ensures that we will arrive on time. Your time is valuable, so we don’t want to keep you waiting. There are times that we may be able to travel further depending on our case load, but this will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to see if we can travel to your home.

We don’t believe in a one-size fits approach to care, so this varies from person to person. Some people are seen as frequent as 2x/week, and others 2x/month. It really depends on each person’s goals and conditions.
